Esta misma noche tiene lugar La gala de los premios Grammy,  que rinde tributo a Michael Jackson y recordará a las víctimas del seísmo en Haití. 
A destacar por la poca variedad que hay en las categorias Album Of The Year, Record Of The Year y Song Of The Year.

A pesar de que parte con desventaja (2 nominaciones menos) apuesto a que Lady Gaga le arrebatará el trono a Beyoncé en nº de galardones y que el podium final del Trío de féminas quedará asi:
1ª Lady Gaga (8 candidaturas)
2ª Beyoncé (10 candidaturas)
3ª Taylor Swift (5 candidaturas)
